A
Little About Us... We are both semi-retired
and wanted to raise a few nice foundation Quarter Horse
foals again, as
we had done back in the 1980's. So, we started our Hancock
breeding program in 2002. Thanks to my Uncle Ned and
Aunt Claire Little, we had the privilege of using Jaybird
Hancock as our foundation sire; he produced some beautiful
blue mares that are now in our brood mare band. These
mares have been introduced to our young stallion Azuls
Caliente for a double shot of Blue Valentine on these
Hancock bred mares. Our dream has become a reality !
We'd be honored to share our accomplishments with you
here on our website, as well as on Facebook at CBS Quarter
Horses, where pictures are worth a thousand words. We
are a small horse ranch in southwest Nebraska running
about thirty-five head of foundation bred blue roans.
Our young stallion, (Blues) has been a true asset to
our breeding program. He is 95.31% foundation and 25%
BlueValentine. He was sired by Azul Caballo Amigo (now
deceased) and his dam is Plenty Ambrose. He has produced
several foal crops for us now, all blue roans and no
white feet.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our customers
for helping us make our program successful, believing
in our horses and sharing our friendship. Also a special
thanks to Donna and Michelle for our Hancock site, the
many hard-working folks who have put on some great Hancock
Horse Breeders Sales, and to our Facebook friends and
fans for all the compliments and encouragement.
